Tengo entendido que Neném Prancha fue entrenador de fútbol, pero de playa; en cancha de once él se desempeñaba en Botafogo profesionalmente como utilero (el que se encarga de la ropa en el vestuario, no sé si en España lo denomina igual). En sus biografías también es considerado como "filósofo del fútbol".
